Arctic cooling TwinTurbo Vs Thermalright V2 Review
Summary and Conclusions
Our first conclusion was already mentioned, and it's regarding the AMD
supplied cooler ,we can understand companied trying to lowe the price
for their products as much as they can, and the fact that the card works flawless with this cooler, but yet the tempratures are quite high, and if
you are looking for better cooling solution - you won't be using it for long.
This is where the 2 coolers we tested today come in.
Thermalright and Arctic Cooling give us better cooling solution, that helps
us get lower temps, and better performance.
The V2 looks very promissing , with it's copper look, an easy installation,
and great bundle, but it's lacking few coolers and a fan of course.
The V2 will require a high CFM fan, which will make the whole purchase
even more expansive, leading to a lower price/performance ratio.
Arctic Cooling bundle was excellent, the cooler which is actually a passive
version , works even better with fan , and two fans would do better ...
The problems we can mention are hard to install memory chips coolers,
and the fact that the heatpipes are directed to the motherboard.
Also we beed to mention the fact that the fan speed must be set by
an external utility.
The complete and handy bundle, plus the fact you don't need to purchase
extra accessories, and excellent performance, makes the Twin Turbo
our first pick, and we give him Editor's Choice Title !
