Arctic cooling TwinTurbo review
Accelero TWIN TURBO - Installation
Installing the twin turbo is quite a simple mission, much like other heatsinks
available in today's market.
first thing is taking off the original heatsink installed on the video card,
and installing the small video card memory heatsinks, and the back mosfets
of the video card.
This installation was quite easy, as the heatsinks are made of aluminium,
and include paste on them.
The twin turbo main heatsink comes with a thermal pad on it, that
replaces the thermal compound , and you must pay attention not to
touch it - or you will hurt the pad, and the touch of the pad with the core
won't be as good as it should be.
Also supplied with the unit are 4 shock absorbers that can be installed
on the unit , which can also apply better holding to the unit.
After we installed the heatsink on the video card, and secure the four
screws, we will have to observe the video card again , and see that
all the heatsinks are attached well, as some of the memory heatsinks
might move a little when installing the main heatsink.
The process is quite fast, and after around 10 minutes we will have the
unit installed and all that is left is the pci bracket, and installing
the video card inside the pci express slot.
Last warning we need to add is - although the heatsink looks big and
stable, you must be careful not to put too much pressure on it ,
and when you install the video card - try holding the PCB itself and not
the heatsink.
