One feature is a copper plate that can be connected to the I/O cooling
unit, which is connected to the CPU heat spreader, between the heat
spreader and the heatsink, which is supposed to transfer heat from the
CPU through the Transpiper and I/O cooling unit and outside of the case.
Installing this plate is very easy, and you connect it with 2 adjusting
screws.



Above this plate you can install the CPU Heatsink easily, but we have
found some difficulties to do that, due to the extra height that the plate
added to the CPU by this plate, and only by using some force we were
able to install the Heatsink. Using heatsinks with screws instead of clips
might help , like water cooling blocks or Tuniq tower and such coolers.




The last Feature of the Transpiper is installing it outside of the case.
In this way, the Transpiper will be attached to the I/O cooling unit, by
using 4 fitting screws, in case you are using the copper plate, the
Transpiper will be installed with some force, to make better contact with
the Transpiper.



Connecting the Transpiper is very easy, and after you install it you can
adjust the fins to any height you want. The I/O Panel includes a
designated port for the Transpiper , and when it's installed it's giving the
case a very unique and impressive look.


After installing the Transpiper to the heat spreader like shown here, we
can understand it's importance, it's moving cold air from outside of the
case to the inside parts of the case, and the different heat sinks units on
the motherboard, also you can adjust the fins to the height of the PSU ,
and using the PSU fan to cool them as well.



After we have inspected the Transpiper , we can say for sure it's a very
unique unit, and it seems like DFI engineers spent a lot of time to design
it, and although it's not perfect, it's still unique and interesting, and no
one is forcing you to use it, although we think if someone is buying the
DFI P35-T2R , he will make a use of it for sure.
